Es gibt Dinge, die kann ich einfach nicht nachvollziehen. Zum Beispiel wenn Fotografen ohne Not ihre Aktfotos durch zensiert verschandeln, obwohl das für eine Plattform überhaupt nicht notwendig wäre. 

Klar, wenn man auf bestimmten Plattformen seine Bilder präsentieren muss, um Models zu gewinnen und man dort bestimmte Bilder unzensiert nicht posten darf, muss man in den sauren Apfel beißen. Aber warum, wenn das für eine Plattform eben nicht nötig ist.
Es gibt doch nichts einfacheres je Plattform die entsprechenden Bilder vorzuhalten, sie sind ja ohnehin unzensiert da. Einfach unzensiert bearbeiten und dann je nach Plattform eine Zensur drüber oder halt nicht.

Oder liegt da eher ein kommerzieller Gedanke hinter, um Betrachter zum Kauf der unzensierten Bilder auf einer Bezahlplattform zu animieren?

Ich glaube, manche wohl so sehr auf Nummer sicher gehen, dass sie immer nur die zensierten Varianten veröffentlichen. Dann frage ich mich aber wieder, warum man überhaupt solche Bilder macht.

There are some things I just can’t understand. For example, when photographers unnecessarily censor their nude photos, even though this isn’t necessary at all for a particular platform.

Sure, if you have to present your photos on certain platforms in order to attract models and you’re not allowed to post certain uncensored photos there, you have to bite the bullet. But why, if it’s not necessary for a platform?

There’s nothing easier than keeping the relevant pictures ready for each platform, since they’re uncensored there anyway. Just edit them uncensored and then, depending on the platform, censor them or not.

Or is there a commercial motive behind it, to encourage viewers to purchase the uncensored images on a paid platform?

I believe some people play it so safe that they only ever publish the censored versions. But then I wonder why they take such pictures in the first place.
